On July 12,2011, after waiting ten days for a part, my Whirlpool drye was supposedly repaired and was under waranty for 90 days.On Friday, September 16,2011 my dryer's touch operation panel once again, failed to respond.  I called A & E Factory Service at 1-800-905-9505 and was given an appointment for yesterday, September 21st between 1 and 5 P.M.  At 4:45 P.M. I received a telephone call telling me that the repair tech was unable to honor the appointment. I called the 800 number and rescheduled the appointment for today between 1 and 5 P.M.  At 5:25 this evening,I once again received a call telling me that the technician could not honor the appointment.  I feel that they are stalling because this repair is under the waranty.  I then received an automated call ntelling me to call the 800 number to reschedule the appointment and when I did, I was tolkd that they could give me an appointment for October 4th, which I tolod them was unacceptaqble!  I have now lost two hald daysb from work and my dryewre is still not repaired.

Same problem, except they were sub-contracting for Maytag, and I never received a call, I called at 4:30, and they said the technician was on his way. An hour later I called back and they said they would have the technician get in touch with me and let me know how much longer. We received no such call. Then 30 minutes later, I called back and they said no one had gone out that day because a computer reset had caused the system to be down all day. I asked to reschedule and they suggested two weeks later, after I had already waited a week for the guy to come diagnose the problem and another week for the parts.  I called Maytag, and they called another sub-contractor.  Ridiculous.

Never Never USE A and E repair Services.  They give you the run around and their service men lie.  I purchased a Maytag from Home Dept through and Purchased  Assurance Insurance who HIRE A/E to do the repairs.  My washer broke down and A and E gave me 3 different appointments and each time the said they would arrive between 8am and 12 pm. or 1:00pm and 5:00.  These guys cll and say they are running late and they never show for the appointments.  In addition to breaking the appointment they report that the customer was not availble.  I am writing their corporate office to complain.  We are still under warranty.  I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau

Same issue here. showed up last friday with no part even though I was 99% sure the heating element went out in my dryer. so ordered.. it showed up... I didn't pay attention to the 800 number that called my cell phone (so much spam callers you know) and of course-THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.

I called 3 times today... the date the TECH scheduled. who did NOT inform us we needed to confirm the part was received. THEY order it how do THEY not track its where abouts and update customer accounts.

so 2 weeks later I am still without a $1000 dryer working that is 1 yr and 1 month old... this is BS. I plan to file with the BBB against HHGREGG, Samsung and A&E.

Same issue.  I have Whirlpool dryer that started throwing AF code a little more than a month ago.  Whirlpool contracted with A&E to do the repair.  Repairman came during the scheduled time, spent 15 minutes repairing it, said that was an easy repair.  Now, after 5 loads, same problem.  I called to schedule repair, was given an appointment for today.  I was at work, but my house is only 5 minutes from my office.  In addition, I gave them my father's number in case I couldn't leave the office.  My time frame was 1-5.  At 3, I hadn't heard anything so I called to confirm the appointment.  I was told the technician was supposed to be at the house between 4:10 and 5:18 and they would call about 30 minutes prior to arrival.  No phone call, no repair.  I called again at 5:30 and was told that they called me 3 times but I didn't answer.  First of all, there were no missed calls on my cell phone.  I'm a dentist, but I made sure I had my cell phone on the counter so I could make sure I didn't miss a call.  Second, they had an alternate phone number.  When I asked why they didn't call that number, they said they didn't have an alternate number.  The funny part?  They confirmed my address, email address, phone number, and alternate phone number when I first called!  Now they say they can't have a repairman out until Friday.  I told them that was unacceptable, they were the ones who missed the appointment.  She asked if I could have family there for Friday, since I told her I couldn't reschedule patients after making allowances for that today.  I told her that my family works, so no.  Her response?  "All your family and friends work 7 days a week?"  Not to mention that the upcoming weekend is a holiday weekend.  They are the ones who screwed up, but now I have to wait???
