We have had to have our system repaired 2X so far. We opted not to get it fixed this time. The warrenty always seems to run out right before it breaks down. My water bill is up to $100. a month. They won't stand behind their craftsmanship. They now want to sell me a new one because now, all of a sudden, mine is obsolete. The system won't shut off. Water just keeps going down my main drain in the basement. The "membrain" keeps going bad. In the meantime, it's like pouring money down the drain. They charge me $90 for 2 new filters that only last about 4 months because it never shuts off. If I'm late paying the bill for the filters they add on a $5. late charge. When we first got the system about 8 years ago, the filters were only $59. for 2 of them. As time goes on we are having to replace the filters more often and the system will not shut off. The worst part, you can only buy the filters through the dealer, not even on line. On a rating of 1 to 10 I give Kenetico a "0".
Personally, I am switching to Culligan. They offered me a much more economical deal and are very trust worthy. Culligan has been around a long time.
