Dear Sir Madam
My name is Dr. A. Aboubakr, and I was a passenger on board of the Turkish Airline flight 1989from Istanbul to Heathrow terminal2 on Sunday, August the 7th 2016. After my arrival to the terminal and collecting my suitcase, I discovered that it was severely damaged during the transport process. I did report that to your Heathrow terminal 2 offices who did check the damage to my suitcase and agreed that it is deemed irreparable. In addition, he did offer me an alternative suitcase of a different make. Since I have a set of Samsonite suitcase and handbag, I had no option but turn down his offer. after reporting the damage to my suitcase he handed metheTurkish Lines damaged Baggage form which contains your email as well as the reference number: 13114 in order to ask for a replacement or a refund as he explained to me.
It is noteworthy that I do not hold any other travel insurance.
As requested please find attached the following photos: my damaged Samsonite suitcase, my samsonite set, my ticket, baggage ticket and my Passport.
In addition, I visited John Lewis at Kingston where I first purchase my samsonite set to search if I can obtain a new suitcase. regrettably, I did find out that the model has been discontinued and the new model prices are as follows: Suitcase is 300 Stirling pounds and the handbag is 135 Stirling pounds.
Your help to replace my set or refund the amount of 300 Sterling pound to me will be much appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Faithfully Yours
