Collection call when owe nothing

We have verified several times with Direct Tv and AT&T and w ere told1p0 percent sure no balance is due and nothing was sent to the Sunrise collection agency for collections. We still keep getting call though. I was told to send in a cot of last bill showing zero balance. Why do i need to go out of my way to send them something when nothing should have happened in the first place. AT&T advised me to block Sunrise and to not give them my credit card information. If i see a negative on my credit report, I'm hiring an attorney because this is fraudulent!

"I was told to send in a cot of last bill showing zero balance. " Their statement was deceptive, and in violation of FDCPA, which requires that THEY provide proof an alleged debt is owed if you request it. File complaints with FTC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and your state AG.
