I was told that I would need to send them $699.00 in order to enable the IRS to tax the prize 7%.

If they ask for any money upfront - for "taxes," "delivery/transfer fees," whatever - it is a scam.

I received a call telling me I won 10 million dollars. They continued to call me after I told them I didn't believe him. On the last day I was told to send 800.00 to a cpr in Texas to cover fees. Needless to say I didn't do it. Maybe I lost 10 million dollars, but I don't think so. What do you think?
I think you did the right thing and recognized it for the scam it is.

LOL here we go again
Ive been contacted 2 times sound very official but I never follow up on the back phone number they give me to validate winnings......Its sad that there are people and groups that still like to trick people out of their money and go through such trouble to try to set up scams to try to do this
