Have you contacted the publisher directly, at the address and phone number inside the magazine?

Or are you getting a fraudulent bill from some third party magazine subscription company?

The publisher should be able to confirm your original payment on your account.  You may also be able to check this via their website.  If you are current, and have paid for what they have delivered, you are free to cancel without renewing at any time.  They can't "make" you renew, although some come close to the line.

Good Housekeeping, and a number of the Hearst magazines, have a habit of dunning for "early renewals", or of trying to cram renewals onto consumers who might not have renewed, using a debt collector/telemarketer (Sunrise is one) to send what appear to be "past due" bills, but when pressured, they may admit they are "offers".  This is one of the sleazy sides to consumer magazine sales, but not as sleazy as some third party fraudulent telemarketing scams.
