This is a scam.  If you are trying to get a driver for an old sound card and it offers to let you download it from them for $1.99 three day pass.  IT IS A SCAM.  It will charge your credit card at least $26.88 mine was charged $79.74.  I reported as scam to CHASE and closed my card.

    Before giving your card number to ANY site, first search on the name to see if there are complaints against it.  In particular, search on "<company name> scam" and "<company name> fraud".  Also be aware of any site that you cannot find any comments on.  There are also sites that rate other sites as to reliability, whether they are virus infected, etc.
