Maytag Refrigerator and Dishwasher

I have purchased a set of Maytag appliances for my kitchen a few years ago.  My refrigerator and dishwasher have noticeable rust on them.  They are all stainless steel, which I have purchased before but other brands.  I contacted the company and they send some rust remover which did nothing.  I contacted them again and they said that because the warranty is over they could do nothing for either of the appliances.  I do not live in an area that this is a problem with rusting appliances.  The reason you buy stainless steel is so it does not rust.  This will be my last Maytag purchase.  I am very frustrated by this and feel a company should stand by their appliances.
