I hired a car(Europcar) from Heathrow Airport from19/05/2014 till 26/06/2014 a total of 38 days Some invoices I received were for 48 days.Notified company ; not their mistake.
My initial booking agreement was with Drive Away Holidays(acting for Europcar) and it included roadside assist but this was not accepted at collection time and I paid an extra amount
After 28 days of my 38 day rental I am sent a bill ,since I trusted them (europcar)They had access to my credit card and they took the money from my account, at this stage I was still on my holiday.
In total Europcar over a period of time removed over 3270pounds(They did refund me 1003 pounds) when the true amount was only 924 pounds.Trying to recover the overpaid amount was not achieved until my bank got involved.But alas last week I received a demand that I pay the refunded amount or I will not be rented another car anywhere in Europe and legal action will be activated. After this sort of treatment it will be a very long time before I consider to rent a car from EUROPCAR
