vending machines are a scam

I purchased something on their vending machine (brush) but my sister got the same so I wanted to return what I got to her ( don't need doubles). On the receipt they say if you are not satisfied, call the 866 number within 60 days of purchase.
I did call but no one ever answers, they tell you to leave a message but I have already left at least 10 messages different days, no one gets back to me. Now Im stuck with an unopened $43 brush with no use. False advertising in your face! Written on the receipt! Class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
