incompitent staff badly thought out policys

on the 9th of June i flew from Kuwait to Istanbull and arrived on time i had a turkish air conection from there to Sofia and was displayed on the board as gate 310 as i was early went tio the gate and had coffee there it was getting late close to the flight time and myself and several others asked a desk opperater on the next gate if the flight had been delayed and he said he didnt know but would come over and tell us if it was.after 10 min he said the gate was change and now going from 207 we got there to be told the gate was closing and to go to desk were i was told the next flight was over 24 hours away and 440 euro.or over 36 hours i was told there was a bus to sofia and woulds be there in 12 hours so this is what i did.one return to sofia was charged 105 euros as thay had cancelled my return ticket. in total the trip cost an extra 435 euro and lost me a full day.i have get to see my family once a year and lost a full day with them i feel your company acted badly and the attitude of the staff was very unhelpfull as there was 6 of us standing at the desk an we were all told that each individual was the only one to miss the flight ?we stood in amasement at this point when we said look we are all here from the same flight.
