Non-disclosure

I wanted to help my daughter for 19.95. Instead, I was billed three times plus billed for vitamins. This was NOT disclosed when I purchased the product. I also ordered express shipping for 9.95 and my daughter was in tears as we waited seven days. I think this company needs to be stopped. I am disabled and divorced, and the money could have been used for food or medical bills as my kidney is failing. They were incredibly non-chalant when I called and tried to complain and even suggested I "need a different plan for shipping". This has cost well over $150, charged to a card I don't use, so therefore assumed I did not have a balance on, and got hit with a late fee (I pay always on time, but don't get mailed statements). Another $35... for not knowing that a $19.95 purchase would cost so much. The woman, when ordering, was just all so proud of us for making the move. My daughter, by the way, actually has beautiful skin but entering eighth grade, wanted to start taking care of it. I am so angry they took advantage of people like us who are poor. I am afraid as I see the commercials go on and on, just 19.95, they say. In this economy, I think this company should be sued for non-disclosure and the ads, aimed at teenagers, taken OFF the air.

Contact your bank or credit card company immediately to dispute the fraudulent transaction, and block the card number to prevent additional fraud. Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank.
Your bank can reverse disputed charges if you dispute within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charges, under FRB Reg. E (for checking account debit card or other EFT), or under FCBA (for credit cards).
Watch your next few statements carefully, to make sure they don't roll this "automatic charge" over to your new card number.
