I have paid almost more for repairs at this point then I paid for washer.   I want to know if there is some kind of recall for this washer.   It broke again tonight and now there is water coming out of the bottom of it and I just don't want to put anymore money into it.   Maytag should have to do something for this washer there is obviously a lot of problems with them and they are not cheap.   Please give some direction on what to do to get it replaced or my money back.  Have had for two years and has been repaired at least 12 times.

WE purchased this washer in 2013 and it has been tearing clothing, especially fine fabrics, ever since.  This is irrespective of setting used.  We have also experienced the poor washing, which is not that unusual for so-called "high-efficiency" washers.  Apparently Maytag has responded to the complaint about low water levels by making the new models with doors (or lids, as you might call them on top-loaders) that lock shut until the cycle is over!  That way you cannot see the water level.  I guess the laugh is on us.
