We are registered on the Do Not Call list for home phone and cell phones. Usually we just hang up when we hear the recording from card services. We often get three calls a day. Lately we have pressed 1 to talk to a person instead of a recording. We have politely explained that we are on the "Do Not Call" list asked to have our name removed. Most of the time I have been hung up on while asking to be taken off the list. One solicitor said angrily, "Well, God Bless America" before he hung up on me. Today a girl asked me my credit card balance and I told her zero. She said, "Well, why did you ask to speak to a representative?", to which I replied, "Well, why did you call me if I have zero balance?" I asked her to please take my name off the list, but she hung up on me as soon as she said "I do not have to be disrespected." I am so tired of these disruptive phone calls.
