We sent an important set of documents from New Delphi on 2.07.2007 to Kolkate. Still, we are waiting for it delivery. We are not able to use their tracking feature as it shows nothing. This is the worst service I have ever experienced!

This is my worst ever encounter with DTDC in my life.
I have booked a courier with your branch at IMT Manesar , Branch code - ZF-2280 or 2F-2280 - one of these two.
I have sent DD of 10,000/- to Symbiosis Institute of management pune for the fees on 16.09.08 and I was expecting this might reach its destination by 20.09.08. The last date of receiving the fees by the institute being 24.09.08. If late I need to pay a penalty of 3000/-.
Consignment no. Z77937920 - ( you will find this cannot be tracked if searched in website ).
I have tracked the consignment tracking on 22.09.08 and found the tracking code does't exist in your records. I immediately visited your branch at IMT-Manesar, and complained about this to Mr. Naresh , who is the owner of the shop where I booked the consignement. He immediately called Mr. Arvind Tiwari ( mobile: 9873730423 ) , a marketing guy from DTDC to know about status of it. He claimed that the boy who have transported must have lost this particular cover on his way before delivering it to the main office. But he is not taking any responsibility for the same.
I have just two days for me to send my DD of 10,000/- to my university to the pay the fees on time and couldn't send it as I have already used the lump sum amount for taking the lost DD in hands of DTDC guy. Now I need to pay 3000/- more as penalty due to no fault of mine.This is DTDC's fault which could not deliver the courier and couldn't even trace the status of its courier. Now the person ( Mr. Arvind Tiwari ) isn't accepting his fault and asking me of excuses. I have consulted the bank, which told they need the original DD for cancellation, or else it might take 20 days for cancelling. I am just worried if anybody cashed the 10,000/- DD in the mean. Who will be responsible for this?But the original one was lost in hands of DTDC. Now what shall I do? Please let me know how shall I proceed.
I was to pay 3000/- in the name of penalty in addition to 10,000/- DD. Now who is responsible for this? How shall I get this money back? Who is responsible for this if DD is cashed by any unintended person some how. ?
I believe DTDC management takes the responsibility for providing the required compensation to me for this loss and evaluate their operations to give better satisfaction to its costumer. The response from the current DTDC employees is not at all good when I approached with my issue and no couldn't give any solution even after a day of its happening.
If I have't tracked it in internet , I would have expected this DD might have reached its destination.

Receiver (at the end) got a call from courier boy stating that they dont cover this area and we have to go to courier office to collect the packet. As soon as I said I will complain to DTDC , he said we will try to deliver the packet but it will take more than 2 days from Ramgarh to Ghato. Its ridiculous..
I always send through DTDC but never faced this type of problem.
I want DTDC to look into this issue and deliver packet as soon as possible and try to improve the service. The small loop hole will create a problem in future.. Customer never expect this of service.
Pathetic service provided by DTDC at Jharkhand.. Need improvement...

I sent a courier from vizag to vijayawada for the name of K.Spoorthi ( Address is K.Spoorti d/o K.Rama Rao, Canara Bank Road, Amar Apartments, Vijayawada - 520010 )which on 15/02/2010. They had received the courrier which on 16/02/2010. But problem is we have missed one metalic ring box in the packing. That day we packed with chocolates box and metalic ring box. But today they have received the parcel without ring box ( metalick ).
Already i called to customer care,vizag and vijayawada offices. But your people are telling that, we don't have any resposible to your packing. I don't clearly what you are doing service with customers. First of all you have to respect the customers. But they are treating with us very worst............. but i am really serious about this issue. I need to urgent solutions from you. I am Sunil Patil from Dombavali. I sent a courier from DTDC services on 12th Nov 2011, Saterday to Karad to my Doctor.The Tracking # is M. The DTDC agent told me it will reach by 15th Nov, Wednesday to Karad. I have been tracking my courier since then, I'm calling the customer care, DTDC office to track it but either no one is picking or not giving me proper answer, they are telling it will reach by Thursday. I have paid 30/- for 40 gms of package.I called the DTDC customer care and office in Pune askinhg about my courier and the guy is telling it wrong address & pnone no after two days,I've been calling them since then and finally the guy reach karade for delivering.after reach i know that one documents are mising from that
We trusted the DTDC services and this is how they are cheating people by charging so much and not delivering the package.
I am extremely frustrated and irritated with DTDC Courier services and I will never ever take your services in future neither I will recommend anyone. I thought this is a good courier service with name but it is worst than any other service providers and are ROBBERS.
I have called them repeatedly, for which they have given me all lies and stories.
Hence, I would like to register my complaint and book a cheating case againt them and seek your advise on how to proceed further.

I really feel bad for selecting this courier service company. I send a pack from Bangalore to Thiruvallur on 4th June Morning. They promised me it will reach the destiny by 5th but still now it didnt reach the place. Normal post would have reached by this time. No proper response from the Thiruvallur office either from Parry chennai office.
