Never send money for a vehicle you can't inspect in person, or if the seller refuses to meet you.  Craigslist warns "OFFERS TO SHIP VEHICLES ARE ALWAYS FRAUDULENT."

I am selling my truck and this organization hi jacked my listing to replace it with this cargo trailer, whilst somehow deleting my truck ads.   I did delete the trailer ad and put the truck ads back on my ad campaign.

Yup, we were looking at it too.  THe "ebay" payment didn't add up so I looked up that particular item and they warn specifically about exactly the claims she was making.  Illness, Death of family member, Military deployment.  What a b*((h

Did it look like this email response? This is what I got. Now I question it all. Believe their not getting a dollar without a trailer and title!

Thank you very much for getting back to me but I would like to clarify
some things first.I have the clear title and the bill of sale.
All the paperwork notarized by a legal attorney are ready to be transferred under new owner's name.
I also want to let you know that the price is firm, non negotiable $800.00.
I am selling the trailer at this price because my
husband passed away not long ago (he was very sick) and this trailer
brings me bad memories and that's the reason why I want to sell it
asap. Another reason for selling it is because I work in military and
      right now I'm on a military base (814 Medical Detachment-Bismarck) on Bismarck,ND.
We are training and getting ready to
leave the country. The trailer is already at the shipping company Fargo, ND
ready for delivery because someone agreed to buy it,but in the end he
never got the loan. For this reason, the shipping is already paid for.
I will use e bay in this transaction for our protection. If you are
not aware of this program, you should know that it will allow you to
test and inspect the trailer before paying me.The inspection period
will be set to 7 days and I think that is enough time for you to make
a decision about the trailer . If you won`t like my trailer you notify
e bay and you send it back at my expense. But I assure you that won't
      be the case.

If you want to continue the purchase, please reply with your full
name, delivery address and phone number so I can start the transaction
with e bay and ask them to send you the terms of this transaction. (
with no further obligation or fees).Thank you

That email has all the earmarks of a vehicle scam:
        - A phony "shipping company"
        - Claims to be in the military and about to be deployed overseas
        - "Dead husband"... "bad memories"
        - Fake eBay "buyer protection"

My brother received the exact same message (talked to her on the phone) and also wanted ebay transaction.
Almost went through with it, but alas, I found this information online about her (man working the scam with her also) and did not send any money.  Is there a way to report this to Craigslist and stop this from happening, at least under her name again?  Thank you so much for posting this, it save us $800 and a ton of grief!

Unfortunately, my husband was scammed and lost $800. Unable to get any money back. You cannot purchase eBay gift card for from stores listed on the fake proposal. They are not connected with eBay. I hope someone is able to put a stop to this. Very sad and unfortunate
