I have no recollection of the company. The company or agency calling, all the operators speak Indian from India. I have a hard time understanding half the words, I also ask to speak to there supervisor 3 times, they hang up immediately. Verbally asked to be taken off three times. Got frustrated a few times, I totally ignore them now, and they call more!  The phone number comes in as 770-019-48 today May 18, 2012 they called 10 times in a row, and a total of 16 times today so far and it's only 3:10 p.m. I need help or suggestion who to contact about the abuse. Thank you.

Who is this company? they call me every single hour. I ask them to stop calling they say in order to place me on the list they need all this personal information. First of all, the man they are asking for I dont even know who he is. They never leave a voicemail and sometimes when I answer in anger they hang up. I am not sure why they keep calling and harassing me.

This number has come up twice on my cell phone, once over the weekend and one today. The next time they call, I'm going to blow a whisle in their ear, and hope it breaks their ear drums.

I received a call from this telephone number claiming that they represent the Medical Service Dept regarding medical service compensation and eligibility and government medical compensation regarding a blood clot related to Yasmin. I received another call from the same exact party but from another number 209-729-0888. I highly doubt that there's a medical service dept of the government, wouldn't there be a particular governmental agency, letter with an official letterhead, official commissioner and director on the letterhead, all which could be verified through the government, if in fact this is a legitimate claim? frankly, when I called the number back containing a complete no, it sounded like a call center. I dont know what to make of this, if perhaps its some scam attempting to secure your banking info with the claim that they are paying you or you are paying them for something. if anyone learns that this is a legitimate co or agency, please advise, but Im smelling something fishy.
    good luck.

Any legitimate government agency would be contacting you by mail, not by phone.

You would be able to verify the legitimacy of any such letter, by verifying the address and phone number contact information against online government info, or by calling them back at their main number that you can deterimne from a .gov website.

Even correspondance in connection with a class action lawsuit would be by US Mail, either to the law firm representing the class, or to a court appointed administrator handling claims.

You are right to be suspicious of all unexpected calls.
The phone is the primary tool used by swindlers.

Above reported patterns are consistent with scams run from Indian call centers.

Slim to no complaint history against the number is also consistent with a recently started phone scam.

There are a number of Indian run scams, ranging all the way from pretending to be offering "services" (possibly medical or pharmacy "discount cards") to fake "debt collection", to pretending to be associated with "the government", "your insurer", or "your pharmacy".  Several have been tracked as they continually develop new scam angles.

Repeated calls to the level of harassment are an indicator of fraud, whatever story they toss at you.
Not clear what their angle is, but you can bet there is one.

The caller id appears to be a spoofed and nonsense caller id.

Ignore all calls from any company you have not contacted directly yourself.
Most unknown callers are running scams and frauds.
Most such scams ultimately include some element of a threat or attempted extortion.
Most such threats by scams are fake, and the scammers generally make threats of actions they cannot possibly actually carry out.

They are liars, so what would you expect?
