This number called my brother in another state and asked for me saying I need to call them bc they have business with them . First they need to call me if they want me not anyone else. Second I thought it was against the law to harass people

    Scam profile..
It's common for fraudulent "debt collection" shakedown scams to create "panic" by deliberately skip-tracing and calling relatives, pretending they're skip-tracing to "serve a summons".  If you're half-way visible, with other current creditors, they could have just as easily skip-traced and called you directly.
It's an act, and a red flag indicator for possible fraud.

Reported to be WFNN Bank, Commenity Bank.  WFNN Bank handles store cards for a number of retailers.
Other complaints report shady tactics usually associated with debt collectors, which might make them subject to FDCPA regardless of whether they're an original creditor.  If their employees want to play "third party consumer debt collectors", then they're "third party consumer debt collectors".  You could probably nail the employee for violations even if the bank got off.

This number 1-800-695-7444 comes up "unknown" now that I've blocked its other # they called from... they are looking for someone I don't know- and never have known.  This has been my phone number for 15 years- there is no reason to call me to reach this mystery woman. SCAM
