Not draining fully
Complaint
I'm not crazy

I've had the repairman here twice in five days- first time he told me that I had to place the clothes loosely in the machine and not overload it. the machine is about four or five years old and never had water remaining in the tub when the spin cycle was finished before. This past weekend the same thing - water in the tub base with only one pillowcase in the machine - at the end of the cycle. Repairman came back, I wanted him to look for a sock caught in the drain motor but he said that it was draining properly and for the life of me, the darn thing worked when he put it thru a rinse/spin cycle. He's just left and the load I put in has just finished and guess what - water seems to be spraying into the machine at the last seconds of the spin cycle. Obviously not going to call the repairman again (kill the messenger?) but after googling the problem I see that the machine is just a piece of crap meant to go kaput after a few years so you can buy a new one. Last time I buy Maytag - next one will be LG and probably going on craigslist to buy a used one.
