I can't believe that the Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in New Castle, DE would have to stoop this low to get buisness. Yes, the whole thing is a scam. You don,t win anything except to pay for what you actually buy. Just look how the shipping and handling charges. They are set depending on the value of the product not the weight or size. I would be afraid to use my credi card on this site.   BIG TIME SCAM  !!!!!!

Sport Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Norristown, PA:
I received their "scratch, match & win" mailer with a key to win a car, and of course, the "lucky number" I scratched out was a winner. The prize from the illustration on the mailer was $750 cash.  I read the small print and called the confirmation number and gave them my confirmation code and was told I indeed had won the prize.
I came to the dealership and was met by their non-employee, there to work the event, and he walked me through a required survey, and then informed me that the key from the mailer was not a key for the car, but to scratch another card to win the car. It required seven key symbols to be revealed. Of course, they were not. Then he went for my prize, which was not the $750 illustrated on the mailer, but a $500 certificate to an online shopping site, GoShoppingMall.com. That certificate indicates that I would be responsible for a processing and delivery fee that included but was not limited to the cost of administering the card program, processing profit fee, replacement and delivery of lot orders, administrative overhead, computer work, freight, packaging, licensing fees, marketing service, backorders, and delivery. It further says I must use a credit card to cover S&H and order processing fees.
This mailer was a scam, pure and simple. There is no value associated with the "prize", and it has soiled the dealership's reputation with me, and my family and friends. I find their conduct of this exercise to be shameful. I am filing a complaint to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office, and I am reporting this on several blogs, including this one. Finally, I am reporting this to Fiat's and Chrysler/Jeep's offices of consumer affairs.
Do not use the GoShoppingMall.com website.

Thanks for the info.. Just did the same thing. Called the number on the flyer. Even called the dealership they said yes come on in and claim you prize. Which was to be an XBOX . I asked at, least 3 times are you sure we won an Xbox and you have them at the dealership. They said yes come on in you are a winner... Right same thing...they gave me another scratch off, which you had to match 6 keys and I didn't get one key...then they gave me a card to on-line shopping mall. Hate to be scammed.

Sport Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Norristown, PA:
I received their "scratch, match & win" mailer with a key to win a car, and of course, the "lucky number" I scratched out was a winner. According to the flyer I had won 2,500 dollars in cash.  I read the small print and called the confirmation number and gave them my confirmation code and was told I indeed had won the prize.  Now I was to proceed to the dealership to claim my prize. Which quickly became apparent that I was going to have to endure the hard pitch sales routine. Well after two hours they were going to let me walk out the door without my prize. they said quote I will get my prize when I return with my decision to buy a car, I said oh is that how it works? They then said I will go get your prize. It turned out to not be the 2500 in cash but an internet shopping card that is only good at one website called goshoppingmall.com which is totally a scam website. Here is why it is a scam. The shipping and handling on each item is based on the items price not its weight or size. Most of the items represented on the goshoppingmall.com website are available at the local dollar store, but here they are overinflated price wise, this is designed to eat up your 500. dollar value on your card. But the real issue is the shipping and handling costs are more than the cost of the item so in essence the dealership is giving you nothing and you are buying the items at retail hidden in the obnoxious shipping charges of the goshoppingmall.com website. Also the slection is very limited and designed to steer you to the higher priced shipping cost items. All in all Sport Chrysler Jeep Dodge is now listed with parasitic lying thieving scum in my opinion. Not a reputable business if they stoop to these types of tactics to get customers, can you imagine the lemons they would sell you just to make a dollar. My advice do not deal with these people in any business transaction.

I didn't even go to the dealership, I read the fine print and went to the mall site, You have to pay the shipping and handling
fees with a credit card.  I compared those with the price I could buy the item at a retail store, and you are paying for what you
get.  the card covers nothing.  This is a big scam to get customers to come to a dealership so they can try to sell you a car.
They say you are a guaranteed winner of 1 of 4 items.  the odds of winning 3 of them are 1 in 90,000.  The mall card odds are
89,997 in 90,000.  So you know if you go in what you get is the card that gets you nothing.

Decided to check up on this before, before going down to the Jeep dealership in Norristown. I'd received a price ticket that said I'd won $5,000. Now that I know for sure that this is a scam, I'll just throw a way the flyer

Tyrell-Doyle Chevrolet-Honda in Cheyenne, WY, is running the same scam, offering a $300 goshoppingmall card at odds of 26997:27000.  Don't buy a car from a dealership that does this sort of thing!

Ya I just went and did all this in hopes of winning. They tried getting me to buy a car, but I said no and walked out. Come to find out their was no need too even go. I checked out the website at was annoyed that the OKCARZ in fayetteville NC. would use such a scam to get people in. And they are not the only ones I have received the very same thing from Crown Ford of Fayetteville, Bleaker automotive of Dunn, and many others. Such crap. I'd rather deal with less shady people!! Oh and I got the 300 certificate that they didn't even explain how to use. LOL, good thing I decided to look up info on the site. Not that i would have bought anything with such  crappy products and shady terms and conditions.

Will never buy a car from Castilone of Clarence NY. Nowhere on the card does it say that there will be a # to match at the dealership! We read it over and over to be sure. Made the call like the card said, supposed to be the $5000 cash, didn't really think we won $5000, but thought $1000 for goshoppingmall.com was at least something. The products available are so few, poor quality and way overpriced. Did a sweepstakes with the key thing one other time and got a $5 Walmart giftcard, at least it was a legit prize! I realize its to get you into the dealership, but goshoppingmall.com, this dealership and the sweepstakes representative that we spoke with are all scam artists and have only hurt their reputation.

As the same with everyone else, This is for Sport Jeep in Norristown, I got the mailer and just figured I would pull the tabs and it said I won 5,000 dollars. So I figured I would check out the dealership. When I got there I was greeted by one of the sales members who I immediately could tell was not from the area due to their accent, to which I was confirmed when they mentioned they just came from MO, and TX for this event. Also then asked if I minded If they smoked while we toured the lot. They were quick to give me a scratch off for their "Bonus" winnings, which didn't win anything (go figure) and take down my info. Asking what I was looking for, 3 hours later I left with not 5,000 dollars because the confirmation code on my card did not match the one they had posted on the window. But with this 1,000 dollar online shopping card that Is worthless due to the shipping procedures. I will stick with my normal Jeep dealership that my family had dealt with for the past 25 years.

Same scam running at Kiefer Nissan/Volvo Corvallis OR.
I called first and was told the card was a winner for $1000 cash. General Mgr. said the secretary didn't say it right and had made a mistake. We had driven 70 miles round trip. Mgr paid for our gas and apologized.
