I can't believe that the Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in New Castle, DE would have to stoop this low to get buisness. Yes, the whole thing is a scam. You don,t win anything except to pay for what you actually buy. Just look how the shipping and handling charges. They are set depending on the value of the product not the weight or size. I would be afraid to use my credi card on this site. BIG TIME SCAM !!!!!!

I received their "scratch, match & win" mailer with a key to win a car, and of course, the "lucky number" I scratched out was a winner. The prize from the illustration on the mailer was $750 cash. I read the small print and called the confirmation number and gave them my confirmation code and was told I indeed had won the prize.
I came to the dealership and was met by their non-employee, there to work the event, and he walked me through a required survey, and then informed me that the key from the mailer was not a key for the car, but to scratch another card to win the car. It required seven key symbols to be revealed. Of course, they were not. Then he went for my prize, which was not the $750 illustrated on the mailer, but a $500 certificate to an online shopping site, GoShoppingMall.com. That certificate indicates that I would be responsible for a processing and delivery fee that included but was not limited to the cost of administering the card program, processing profit fee, replacement and delivery of lot orders, administrative overhead, computer work, freight, packaging, licensing fees, marketing service, backorders, and delivery. It further says I must use a credit card to cover S&H and order processing fees.
This mailer was a scam, pure and simple. There is no value associated with the "prize", and it has soiled the dealership's reputation with me, and my family and friends. I find their conduct of this exercise to be shameful. I am filing a complaint to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office, and I am reporting this on several blogs, including this one. Finally, I am reporting this to Fiat's and Chrysler/Jeep's offices of consumer affairs.
Do not use the GoShoppingMall.com website.
BMW dealership on Poe road in Vandalia Ohio
I received their "scratch, match & win" mailer with a key to win a car, and of course, the "lucky number" I scratched out was a winner. According to the flyer I had won 2,500 dollars in cash. I read the small print and called the confirmation number and gave them my confirmation code and was told I indeed had won the prize. Now I was to proceed to the dealership to claim my prize. Which quickly became apparent that I was going to have to endure the hard pitch sales routine. Well after two hours they were going to let me walk out the door without my prize. they said quote I will get my prize when I return with my decision to buy a car, I said oh is that how it works? They then said I will go get your prize. It turned out to not be the 2500 in cash but an internet shopping card that is only good at one website called goshoppingmall.com which is totally a scam website. Here is why it is a scam. The shipping and handling on each item is based on the items price not its weight or size. Most of the items represented on the goshoppingmall.com website are available at the local dollar store, but here they are overinflated price wise, this is designed to eat up your 500. dollar value on your card. But the real issue is the shipping and handling costs are more than the cost of the item so in essence the dealership is giving you nothing and you are buying the items at retail hidden in the obnoxious shipping charges of the goshoppingmall.com website. Also the slection is very limited and designed to steer you to the higher priced shipping cost items. All in all Sport Chrysler Jeep Dodge is now listed with parasitic lying thieving scum in my opinion. Not a reputable business if they stoop to these types of tactics to get customers, can you imagine the lemons they would sell you just to make a dollar. My advice do not deal with these people in any business transaction.
fees with a credit card. I compared those with the price I could buy the item at a retail store, and you are paying for what you
get. the card covers nothing. This is a big scam to get customers to come to a dealership so they can try to sell you a car.
They say you are a guaranteed winner of 1 of 4 items. the odds of winning 3 of them are 1 in 90,000. The mall card odds are
89,997 in 90,000. So you know if you go in what you get is the card that gets you nothing.
I called first and was told the card was a winner for $1000 cash. General Mgr. said the secretary didn't say it right and had made a mistake. We had driven 70 miles round trip. Mgr paid for our gas and apologized.
