In all cases of fraudulent charges, contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge and close the account.  Follow up in writing with a written dispute to your bank to preserve your Reg. E dispute rights.

Anyone who would take money from you once will likely do it again.

File additional complaints with your state AG and FTC.

"unauthorized deductions from my checking account

By Ian Bannerman, 25 Feb 2008 | Country: Thailand
I viewed a web site offering a free credit report. With out using the service they have figured out my bank and have obtained my account number and have now been systematically withdrawing $14.95 every month. They ignore requests to discontinue the practice and have caused chaos with my banking.
I reported it to the local office of the FBI (Hartford, Con.) who didn't even have the decency to reply to my email.
    What a country."
