Please carefully review the following Scam-O-Matic results:
This email looks like a fake lottery scam.
Consider the following facts about real lotteries:
They do not notify winners by email.
You can not win without first buying a lottery ticket.
They do not randomly select email addresses to award prizes to.
They do not use free email accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) to communicate with you.
They do not tell you to call a mobile phone number.
They do not tell you to keep your winnings secret.
They will never ask a winner to pay any fees to receive a prize!
Any "courier service", "lawyer" or "bank" that a fake "lottery" may have introduced you to is also fake!
The following phrases should put you on alert:
"barr.", "chambers":
Barristers (lawyers) mentioned in 419 scams are always fake.
Thank you for using Scam-O-Matic. If you found the results from this check useful then please mention www.scamomatic.com to your friends, family and co-workers, so they can also use it to check out and report suspicious emails that may have been sent to them by criminals.
"
Besides which what real attorney would put ALL of their "credentials" as part of their signature lines? Only a scammer would try so hard to impress the mark in one blind email.
