    Truth
AS of today we have proof that Thomas Schoenberger has deposited into his account for North Bay Entertainment starting Feb 08 after his alleged transfer of NBE to Mr Leflar the sum of $103,245.25 so far. A civil case will be filed this week.

    ERlC SYMONS,
    Plaintiff,
    vs.
    THOMAS SCHOENBERGER
    Defendant.

    Case No.; 26-50999
    DECISION AFTER SMALL CLAIMS TRIAL
This small claims case came on for hearing on March 19,2010. Both parties were present and presented testimony, evidence and argument. The court took the matter under submission, and now rules as follows:

Plaintiff presented undisputed evidence that he is owed money for unpaid contracts by North Bay Entertainment (NBE), a sole proprietorship. Plaintiff presented further evidence that Defendant Schoenberger is the/an owner of NBE and, therefore, is personally liable for NBE's debts to plaintiff.

Defendant rebutted this evidence with evidence that ownership of the business was transferred in February of2Q08, to a third party, Steven Letlar, before the contracts in question were entered.

This was a difficult case for the court to decide because the evidence presented by plaintiff clearly shows that defendant continued to be heavily involved in NBE, including its management, marketing, operations and finances, and may have even wrongfully taken money from the company for his own uses, after ownership was allegedly transferred to Mr. Leflar.

On the other hand, defendant has presented the court with strong evidence that Mr. Leflar held himself out as the legal owner of the company to government agencies, including the IRS,beginning in early 2008. From this evidence, the court is unable to conclude that plaintiff has met his burden of proving that defendant is legally responsible for debts incurred by NBE after February of 2008.

Plaintiff's claim is against NBE and the sole proprietor thereof. He has not proven that Thomas Schoenberger continued to be the sole proprietor of NBE after February of 2008.

If plaintiff's other allegations against defendant are true, then it may  be that Mr. Leflar has valid claims against defendant, but those issues are not before the court in this matter.

Based on the foregoing, judgment shall be entered in favor of Defendant.
    It is so ordered.

"Steven's Music", aka Steven Leflar, aka Simply The Best Entertainment, has lost multiple lawsuits and found guilty in Superior Court of ripping off bands, DJ's, and other vendors of over $200,000.

Leflar keeps changing the name of his compnay to try to hide his criminal reputation:  "Steven's Music", "Star Sounds Productions", "North Bay Entertainment", "Simply The Best Entertainment", "STB DJs", "DJ SRL" are ALL the same con man, Steven Leflar. In the past he had used "Steven McArthur" as an alias to hide his identity.

Avoid ALL of the above "businesses", especially "Simply The Best Entertainment" and "Steven's Music" (these 2 have active web sites still up)  LeFlar uses 2 friends of his to pose as "owners" of his companies in an effort to hide his affiliation with them.  He works most of his scams in the Napa, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Cotati, Sonoma areas, of northern California.

Here is a partial list of people in the music industry that Steven Leflar ripped off:
    Michael Halem
    David Martin
    Gig Xifaras
    Thomas Schoenberger
    Larry Lynch
    Ellen Shea
    Ron Israel
    Brian Cline
    Joe Sharino
    Eric Symons
    Gary Sparks
    Kier LaCrosse
    Mike Luna
    Larry Johnson
    Wendy Wiggs
    Shiela Groves
    Allison Sharino

'Google' Steven Leflar.  Then contact any of the above for verification. Stay away from "Steven's Music" and "Simply The Best Entertainment"

Superior Court of Concord. Case number CSC09-1099

Steve LeFlar (has recently been using the alias 'Steven McArthur' DBA North Bay Entertainment (later changed the name to "Star Sounds Productions", then changed it again to "Simply The Best Entertainment") found guilty of non payment of the live band, "Big City Revue" at the Intercontinental Hotel. Booking was made by Eric Symons, at the time working with LeFlar. Contract signed by LeFlar.

Total judgement - $5200.00 awarded to Associated Entertainment (AE hired Big City Revue) Judgement entered on February 10, 2010.

Although still working under the names "Simply The Best Entertainment" and "DJ SRL", in the Sacramento, Cotati and Napa areas, LeFlar has not paid this debt.

    ==========================================================

Superior Court of Concord. Case number CSC09-1100

Steve LeFlar again found guilty of non payment of the live band, "Six and The City" at the Adeszko Wedding at Auberge Du Soleil. Booking was made by Eric Symons, working with LeFlar. Contract signed by LeFlar.
