Fiance fell for Irenejon88@gmail.com scam. He paid $1400 in ebay gift cards to take advantage of an offer he got in an email to buy a John Deere Tractor for that price. The emailer claimed her son had the tractor and had died in a bicycle accident, and "she" was trying to sell his stuff. Looked on Ebay and no such tractor exists, but that's after he's been scammed. Fiance fell for the emailed ad because unfortunately he is not very internet savvy and because the ad was a forwarded email from a trusted sender.
Probably not a "she" - these scam gangs tend to be all male. They pretend to be women (often claiming to be widows who want to sell their late husbands' property) to gain sympathy from their victims.

Just had susan3evans@gmail.com try and scam me for $600 on a trailer in North Dakota. They copy images from a trailer dealer in Georgia and when you say you are interested they say their husband just passed away and they are in the military and going out of country soon. Wish these people would get testicular cancer and die a painful death.
