Nov 23rd, a pre-auth for $1 shows pending in my online banking, 24th, 59.95 debit attempted, 25th, (2) 29.95 credits attempted, pre-auth still showing, called bank and had both cards closed and new ones issued, Don't understand how this isn't some sort of federal violation; a company in CA, billing me in VA for something I've never looked into or even been curious about? Free Credit Report.com is by far the largest scammer I know of, there are literally thousands of these reports online, someone needs to do something about them.

Contact your bank immediately to dispute the charges under FRB Reg. E, and close the account due to fraud to prevent additional charges. Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address from your statement.
As we are entering the peak Christmas buying season, consumers should be particularly watchful for fraudulent charge cramming.
This is the optimal time for such scams to engage in fraud since it is easier to slip through small charges among increased levels of purchases, and it is more likely that consumers might not notice long enough to run out the 60 day FRG Reg. E and FCBA dispute periods.
Several such scams have been caught using this tactic, including overseas criminal fraudulent charging rackets, and last year, Peel Inc. (operating under "seattlecoffeedirect", "posterpass", etc.) just before they were sued and shut down by the Illinois Attorney General.
