Tub bearing shot after 22 months
Complaint

Purchased new for $750 (after applying several promotions). Run 4-5 small loads per week for 2 people. Immediately upon sudden and loud 'grinding noise' we paid $135 though Sears Repair to find out the tub bearing is shot and would cost $686 to repair. $89 more and I could get a brand new one. Whirlpool refused to offer ANY compensation while saying their appliances are only of the highest quality. Really? Never again. Never Whirlpool. Buying a new washer today from another manufacturer (yet to be decided).
