Without further information, it is hard to say.  It could be either a debt collector, telemarketer, or small business billing scam.  Reports of autodialed calls have been increasing from all three sources.

In any case, it may have nothing to do with you other than that they somehow got your name and work number, whether from buying some list, skip-tracing, or even  your own company's website.  Even if it is a debt collector, they may be trying to collect on some debt owed by someone else, or they may have misidentified you as the person on some account.

You might check your credit reports for erroneous collection accounts.  In the absense of that, I would expect my employer to take appropriate action to maintain a safe and abuse-free workplace for their employees.

If they are being passed through a receptionist, additional information on all incoming calls requesting you can be collected before forwarding, or caller id information can be obtained.  Your direct extension can be changed, or a forwarding number (to a cell phone with voice mail) can be provided, for which you can obtain caller information (calling phone number with date and time).  Unrequested autodialed calls to cellphones are already illegal under TCPA, and in addition, you can add that number to the Do Not Call list to provide a private cause of action should this be from a telemarketer.

Once you get information on what you are dealing with, you can take appropriate action.  If a debt collector is calling you at work, threatening your job, you can notify them to cease contacting you at work, and sue if they fail to cease.  If they are contacting you in error, you can similarly notify them to cease, and sue if they fail.  Other cases can be handled by passing the information off to authorities, including the Attorney General in the state of the caller.
