This is a third party telemarketer working for some separate company that BofA has solc their customer information to.

Watch your statements closely, because there are many reports of fraudulent charges in connection with "BofA" "insurance" telemarketing.  The telemarketers already have all the account information they need to start monthly charges, whether you agree or not, which makes it easy to fraudulently sign up BofA customers and start draining their accounts until they notice.

To get removed from BofA telemarketing, go to www.bankofamerica.com and search on "opt out".  That will bring up the "Set Your Online Security Preferences" choice, which allows you to opt out of "Bank of America marketing offers", "Sharing information among Bank of America companies", and
"Sharing your information with third parties".

If you don't want telemarketing calls, opt out of everything.  At least opt out of third party sharing, since that appears to be the source of the many complaints of fraud.

If you are on the Do Not call list, and you are NOT a BofA customer, then BofA telemarketers, like all companies with no existing business realtionship, should have removed your number by scrubbing it against the Do Not Call list.  File DNC complaints on the FTC site.

If you ARE a BofA customer, you would have to opt-out to stop the calls, since the Do Not Call list would not apply.

Some states, such as California, have state law requiring that opt-out is default.  You would have to first specifically opt-in before they could call.

Thanks.  I already tried putting my number on the National Donotcalllist thinking that would stop them from calling, but they still call me everyday.  I needed help! Thank you
