I have had many problems with this company they scam you into getting the magazines saying they just want to send you some info they you get a bill in the mail. So I had to pay them because they took me to court and somehow they got my parents information and tried to take them to court also for my bill. This company is a bunch of scum bag liars. They will say anything and do anything to get what they want they even tried to levy my pay but i fought that and won. If you ever get a phone call from this company hang up dont even give them your first name they are a bunch of cheats.

Did you actually go to court, in your county, and face an actual attorney in front of a judge?
Did they actually take you or your parents to court, or just pretend they were calling from the "courthouse"?
Note the range of fraudulent scripts used, as well as the preference for cons rather than sales of magazines.
They seem to actually prefer to con marks out of "termination fees" for nothing, rather than even overpriced "subscriptions" for actually sending magazines, even going to the length of deliberately messing up the "order" to get a "termination fee" payment just to go away. Almost seems like a matter of pride, like getting even an inflated subscription is too much like normal work.

Two days later, a Friday, I get another call from a woman saying shew was from the same company, she talked very fast. It was hard to understand her or even pay attention to her because I was dealing with customers at the time. But she was not letting me get off the phone really. The woman then told me that it would be 3 dollars a week, so about 26$ for two months. And I would pay that two months at a time. Then she informed me that a representive would show up at my work the next Tuesday or Wednesday to get my first payment. I was really busy and had to go so said okay then hung up the phone. I never gave them any financial information, they never asked either.
That night I went home and tried finding the magazine company who sold me this, because I did not remember the name of the company, I only remembered that it was on Deleware St in Buffalo New York, So after hours of researching them I finally typed in "magazine sales in buffalo NY" then right on top was their webiste sevenonesixservices.com followed by multiple links under with titles that said things like "COMPLAINTS, SCAM, HARRASSMENT" etc. They all had stories just like mine, such as someone calling their work and saying they were selling for working women, etc. After reading at least 50 horror stories (I did find a couple people who loved their service) of what they put people through after they sign a contract with them (when the representative comes to take your first payment) I decided immediatiely I needed to end this.
Saturday morning I called the number that was on the website 7168751250, it rang one time then went to a quick voicemail, I left a voicemail assuming they were closed on the weekend and would call me back on Monday. I waited until 11:00am on Monday and received no call. So I called myself and spoke to a very nice man named Jim. I explained to him that I did not want any representive showing up at my work, and that I did not want the service at all. He was very polite said ok, he took my name down and information again so he could cancel it. He told me that if anyone does call me or does show up to try and sell me the magazines (he doesn't think they will) but just in case tell them I spoke to Jim at extension 103. I told him thank you for being so nice, and we got off the phone.
So now I guess all I can do is wait and see what happens. But Jim said since I never signed anything with them, I have no obligation to pay them anything and I am in the clear.
