Cancellation Policy - Personal Training

I am writing to vent about the Cancellation Policy for Personal Training. I understand the fineprints; I understand about having to pay 50% of the remaining balance on any personal training contract (which, by the way, I think is terrible anyway). But my biggest gripe is that they will not cancel if my financial situation changes for the worse - which it has. Right now I can't afford to pay $650 (1/2 my balance); I've already got limited paychecks due to a personal issue, but my job has drastically cut back on overtime, and I was using that overtime to pay for the contract. I've emailed Orlando Gonzalez at LA Fitness and faxed documents that prove my shaky financial situation. I hope to get a positive resolution soon. If not, I'll have to seriously consider closing my bank account. I will keep you posted.
