AIRTEL FROM PREPAID TO POST PAID CONNECTION

On 31st dec 2013, I got a call from airtel executive namely Sanjana (Number: 9972639769)  to convert my number from Prepaid to postpaid. Plan name is Double dhamaka.



She sent her representative on thursday(02/01/2014)  for collect money of Rs 450 and My id proofs. The guy called me from the number +917760544378.  He collected 450 Rs, My id proof and gave me a airtel simcard of number 899145000050182399895. He told my sim will get activated by late evening. But not activated.



Again she called me on friday and said my Id proof is not  clear. So she asked me to send my id prrof to the mail id airtelindia1976@gmail.com. I have sent my address proof to the mentioned mail id.



A guy called me from the number +919972637558 on friday(03/01/2014) for getting my local address. As i was busy I ignored the call. He texted me saying " MADAM I'AM FROM. I NEED YOUR BANGALORE'S LOCAL REFERENCE ADDRESS. PLEASE WHEN YOU ARE FREEJUST TEXT ME YOUR LOCAL ADDRESS. YOUR POSTPAID CONNECTION WILL BE ACTIVATED VERY SOON. THANKYOU'. I replied my local address to that number,



Again the same guy (+919972637558) called me on saturday and asked for my friend's number for reference. I do shared my friends number.



Today by afternoon 03:15pm I got a message saying "Prepaid to Postpaid conversion of your airtel mobile number 90008755046 has been intiated. Your address verfication will happen within 72 hrs" from AZ-AIRCCM. Then by 04:07 again I got a message saying "Due to incomplete verification of your billing address, your prepaid no could not be converted to Postpid no. Visit nearest airtel center for details. As far as I know, No one have been to my local address for verification.



On trying to contact the persons contacted me for Post paid connection, they are not picking the call.



Please refund my amount 450/-. I am using Airtel for more than five years with the same number, Still now i haven't Experienced any fake calls like this. Please take neccessary action.
