I manage a small food business that has a Sears brand washer/dryer combo which is used for washing uniforms. On 7/24 the dryer stopped working so I called the 1 800 number on the side of the machine and scheduled an appointment for 7/26. 7/26 I called the 1 800 number and asked where the repair man was. I was told that they were running behind and they should be there within the hour. Two hours go by and still no repair man, so I. called again. I was told they were running behind and would be there shortly. 30 minutes later the repair man called and said he was on his way. Nobody ever showed up. 7/27 I called the 1 800 number again and asked what was going on. The representative informed me that the repair man called to confirm that I was home and nobody answered the phone so they assumed nobody was home and skipped me. My business is open till 9pm I told the representative and when the phone rings it is always answered, I even checked the caller ID and there were no missed calls. I was then informed that I would have to re-schedule the appointment and the next available was 8/2. I declined the appointment as I felt that since they never showed up for the first appointment and lied about calling with no answer that I would use one of the other appliance services in the city. If Sears had as many repair men as they do customer support representatives and customer relations experts and quality managers their customers would be better served. Sears appliance repair is will never get my business again.

    Never Again Sears!
Was scheduled for 7-9am appointment.  No show.  Called customer service at 9:15 and was told technician was running late.  Called at 11:15 and was told technician would call me back.  Called at 12:15 and asked to speak to supervisor.  Was told that the time slot was not a "guarantee" and that the schedules were based on demographic area and priority.  Read between the lines-my repair was under the warranty agreement and was free, therefore not a priority.  Asked to speak to someone above the supervisor.  After being on hold for 37 minutes, I was disconnected.  Now on hold again!!!  This is totally unacceptable!  I get it if you give a time window between 8-5 (some companies do that)  I get it if  you are a little late.
We are now 6 hours after the original time and no one from dispatch has had the courtesy to even call me!!
