Hello, in 2010 we purchased a top of the line Maytag front load washer and dryer.  It had  a one year warrenty.  After the warrenty was over we had an issue with the washer being very loud in spin cycle.  They sent a repair team out and I purchsed a service plus one, witch basically covered the issue and anything for one more year.  It was pricey at 315$.  The washer and dryer were also expensive when we bought them.  We thought we were buying a quality product.  The issue was the berrings, basket, and drum broke and needed to be replaced.  After my second warrenty expired we started hearing the loud noise in spin again, assuming it's the same problem.  I was very annoyed and called Maytag to complain.  They said they can send someone out to diagnose the problem for an 89.00 charge.  Am I crazy, Maytag wants me to pay so someone can come and see if it's the same issue?  Have they heard of good customer service?  I would think they would offer to send someone out to look at the issue, and if they same issue..they should cover it, but I should not have to pay 89.00 for the to look at it.  I can use that to by a new washer.  This has made my family resent Maytag and due to their lack of customer service we won't be buying or recommending Maytag to anyone.  Disappointed in poor customer service for what was supposed to be top on the line washer.  It's only been 5 years.  Way too many issues and way too much money spent.
