I am a new customer to Meaningful Beauty face products and when I placed my first order to submit another smallquick screen popped up and I thought I excited it but apparentley I was subscribing to vitamins. I called a Meaningful Beauty rep and told them and they said that you get these free for the first time and if you do not want these just call and cancel and you will not be billed. Here is the kicker... They are now billing me twice for two bottles every month of $38 and change. I keep trying to cancel and the rep tells me that it is something I want and if I cancel it will take up to 6 weeks to credit my account.I am very upset! BILLED 2X for something I NEVER wanted in the first place!!! I am now having to go to my bank and close my account and set up a new one just so I am NOT getting billed. I am also denying any charges for these vitamins. BUYER BEWARE WHEN ORDERING ONLINE!!! If I were Cindy Crawford I would be more hands on to how my name was being represented! This surely does not do ones name justice.

This is a common fraudulent "health product" charge cramming scam.

There is no reliable way beyond shutting down access to your money to stop them from continuing to take it.

File fraud disputes with your bank, and have them block the card number or close the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  If you dispute within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charges, your bank can reverse them under FRB Reg. E or FCBA.

FTC recently shut down a similar group of scams run by Jesse Willms.

I received Cindy Crawford's vitamins  when I ordered her skin care products.  The vitamins made me feel a tad quesy, so I stopped taking them.  When I called to cancel my "subscription" the person on the phone told me that the new shipment had just gone out the day before my call.  When I received them, I took them to the post office and the clerk suggested I just return to sender (since I hadn't opened them).  When I noticed a charge the following month (March) on my account, I called and spoke to a young man.  He informed me that they had received the vitamins, and I should see a credit on the next month's statement.  On April's statement, they charged me again!  When I called, a young lady informed me that they did not receive the vitamins back (?????) and I would have to fill out one of their forms stating I had sent them back.  Oh - it will take 7 - 10 days for me to receive the form.  Never again am I dealing with these people.
