DVR was not playing back recordings properly and gave a code 14-933 after running a trouble shooting scan... They said it was the hard drive gone bad and I will loose all of my recordings over the last 2 years. They offered to replace it as long as I paid for shipping of $19.75 I told them that I would not pay shipping for equipment that is leased and they should pick up the tab, it is the least they could do considering I will loose all of my favorite movies that were in my DVR library ? They reluctantly agreed to take care of shipping once they checked my account and figured out I was not under my 2 year contract anymore, the CSR told me just this once and they would never do it again and I told her that I would never agree to that statement and they can come and pick up their dish tommorrow if they would like... I will not pay for shipping on equipment that is defective and leased for anyone including the big giant Direct TV. I get solicited several times a month by Comcast and DISH and had they not paid for shipping I would have switched. Stand your ground and vote with your feet people because this policy is not fair to the consumer.
