We have had maytag washer and dryer for 25 years, it was time to replace.  Purchased the Maytag Centennial washer and dryer.   Very Very disappointed with the washer, residue and lint all over the black clothes.   Poor quality compared to the older models.  Any suggestions about lint problems?

    I am having the same issue.  I wash the clothes only to have the residue all over the darks - especially the blacks.  I have tried running them through multiple rinse cycles to remove the residue.  I have washed a smaller quantities and still the same problem.  I have contacted the company and basically blew me off.  They told me wash the seals, use white vinegar wash cycle and nothing helped.  The problem is there is no where for the lint to go.  I have to take something that is dark and wet and wipe the residue off the darks on a flat surface.  We wear a lot of black clothing and I absolutely hate laundry day.  I hate this washer and will never own another Maytag nor front load washer.  Lint is the problem and I haven't found a way to resolve it YET.
