My name is Veniecia Battles. I have a problem. I contacted rent recovery solutions a few weeks ago about some debt that I have around 390. Stacy was at lunch so another supervisor (I don't remember her name) took the phone call. She was very sweet and helped me out a lot! She was very informative. I was informed on what I owe, which was around 390, and why I owe it. I don't mind paying for what I owe, however, there is one charge that is included that is around 66.00. It's showing that's rent for June. If you look on my acct you will see that before I left the apt I went to the office n asked what I owed and they told be around 62.00.. So I got a money order and paid it.. The supervisor that helped me said that she saw that I made that payment of 62.00 to the apartments. She said it looks like they charge you for the rent in June plus they charged me a few dollars more for something after I had moved (she told me exactly what is was but I can't remember.. I think trash or something), which totalled to around 66.00. She said she would send in the 66.00 rent part for review to see why they charged me that if I paid it before I left. The remaining balance I am willing to pay as soon as this 66 dollar situation is resolved. She was very helpful! We then got off the phone. A little later the same day Stacy, another supervisor in Georgia, called me from 6788194723. I informed her of everything that the previous supervisor told me. Stacy looked at the notes on the account and saw that I spoke with someone earlier she then said it should be resolved by the end of that week and she would give me a call when the review was done. She seemed like she was nice and helpful as well.. I hadn't heard anything from her so I called back today 2/27/18 around 1:30pm. I spoke with supervisors Stacy and for some reason, from the very beginning of the call she was in defense mode and had an attitude. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but it was definitely showing on the phone. I called to check on the review and all she kept saying was you owe 390.00 as of right now and that is the accurate amount. It was almost like I was talking to a totally different person. It took me by surprise. I was trying to explain to her about the 66.00 and she just kept saying I don't think you're understanding me.. Then she said you have a lot of fees that add up to 390.. I went on to tell her about the 62.00 that I had made and they charged me for it again but it was for 66 instead of 62.00. She wasn't understanding what I was saying and she wasn't trying to understanding. She said I'm going to send this to your email so you can see it because you are not understanding what I'm saying. I told her that the other supervisor that I spoke with a few weeks ago told me that she saw where I had made the payment to the apartments in June. Stacy was trying to tell me that I didn't make the payment. I said how did the other supervisor see it but you can't see it? She said I don't know what she was looking at but you owe 390 and that's the right price. We just kept going back and forth, we weren't getting anywhere. I never raised my voice or had an attitude. I was just curious as to what the status of my review was, and it escalated to all of this. She then said ma'am is there anything else I can help you with.. I asked her why she had an attitude and why she was being rude. She said because you are not understanding what I'm saying. She also said that amount was already applied. Then I think she confused herself. I also told her that I didn't have an attitude with her and I never raised my voice at her so why is she treating me like that.. I told her I didn't appreciate that. After that she never apologized, she just asked if she could help me with anything else.. So I asked her for her name as well as her last initial. She just kept saying my name is Stacy and that was all. Then she started being smart again. She even laughed at one point like this was all a joke to her. She also said I can give you the address too if you want it. I don't take this lightly and I am very disappointed. I even asked her if there was someone else I could speak with or another supervisor and she said nope because you are assigned to me so no one else can help you. She kept saying that. I'm going to pay what I owe I just wanted the part that I have already paid to be deducted. All the unnecessary attitude I was receiving from Stacy was very unnecessary. By the way, I never receive the email that she was supposed to send me. I am very disappointed with how I was treated today. I work in customer service myself and that is not how you treat people. Especially from a supervisor. That's definitely not a good look for the company. I would like my case to be given to another supervisor that's more pleasant to speak with and that's actually willing to listen and understand. She made it seem as though I didn't want to may my rightful debt. I am a God-fearing individual and will not try to get over on someone. I know what I paid and as soon as I get the updated total I am going to pay it all at at once, instantly. I'm not trying to get over on anyone. I don't want to speak with her about my case again. I would like another supervisor or person to be over my case. I would like a response from this email as well.
