My friend got a call today and he said his name was Jay Marshall with American Law Division.  The phone number he called me from was 954-745-9017. He was very rude and kept giving very vague information.  I think it is sad that these so called companies pray on innocent people and get them all scared!  He said he would send the sherrif to arrest her and I told him to feel free to do so because I wanted to turn them in while they were here.  I called back to let them know I knew they were making fraudulent calls and they hung up on me.  Seems like they don't like being harrased anymore than we do!

I got a call several times from the same so call Law Division. The guy on the other end of the phone also with a Indian accent hung up on me when I started to ask him question about the lawsuit. So I called him back several times and he continued to hang up. He did have some personal information like my social security number but theinformation was not legit about the lawsuit its a scam definetly.

I received a call today at work from 954-745-9017, it was an Indian speaking lady saying her name was Kelly Smith. When I called the number I spoke with a Jason Conner, I was told that tomorrow a sheriff's office was coming to my place of employment to serve me with arrest papers.  When I asked the name of the company I was told Dispute Resolution Center and then he said American Law Division.  When I asked how to spell his last name he got very nasty and when I told him what he was saying was against the far debt laws, he got even matter saying I know the law- so I hung up.  To be on the safe side I contact a lawyer and he said that it is a scam, since I have never received anything in the mail.

Some Indian person called to tell me they were with some criminal division of law enforcement and could they please have my attorneys name and phone number.  When I said "I will reserve that information, please continue" they hung up.  This is the second time I have received a call like that.  I wanted to say "wow, Im being criminally investigated by the Indian Police? I'm an international felon? COOL!" but of course when they know you aren't falling for their scam and becoming scared, they hang up.  I wonder how many old people they scare.  I think he wanted to verify (as if he had it in the first place) my social security number.  Had I given that to them, they could have opened a bank account in my name and reeked havoc with my credit.  I didn't fall for it.  Don't you either!

I too have been receiving calls from this so called "American Law Division" from Senior Attorney Max Gardin, although through his very tick Indian accent it sounded as though he was saying his name was Mark Scott. They said they were calling for Cash Net, a company that I have never done business with. They wanted me to wire $594 to Brandon, Fl via Western Union. They have called from a couple different numbers, 310.933.0480 and 607.595.0240. The more I pressed him for information, he became very agitated with me. At this point I was pissed and told them to leave me alone and hung up.
He called me back to say that they were filling a lawsuit in New York Court and my attorney and I would need to go to this Court appearance. I hung up again, he called back and told me F off and now I will have to go to Court. This is a scam do not send them any money! If you can get the supposed creditor name out of them, call that supposed creditor and see if they have a complaint/investigation in the works about these scam artists. Chances are the company already has been doing an investigation on them. Cash Net said that they also have a Better Biz Bureau complaint in the works. I just received an email from Cash Net and I am going to post part of it so everyone can complain. The more info we are able to gather about these guys and turn over to the proper authorities the faster they can catch them and stop this scam!

OK here is part of the letter from Cash Net I received:

We are aware of this fraudulent activity and are actively investigating all cases as well as cooperating with State and Federal authorities.  The Better Business Bureau and the Community Financial Services Association are also aware of this fraudulent debt collector activity and have issued consumer alerts.  More information regarding this alert can be accessed on the Better Business Bureau website.

For future reference, the following advice is offered to those who receive a suspicious telephone call about an outstanding debt:
Ask the debt collector to provide official documentation which substantiates the debt.
Contact the original creditor to confirm the debt and verify that it was sold to a third party.
Do not provide or confirm bank account, credit card or any other personal information over the phone until you have confirmed the legitimacy of the call.
File a complaint online with the Federal Trade Commission  at http://www.ftc.gov/index.shtml  if the caller is abusive or uses threats.             Hope this can be off help to someone!

Got a call from a guy named Sean Miller, with a strong Indian accent telling me I was being sued by this company.  I asked him to give me the information so I can have my attorney call him and he gave me a vague response.  I became upset when he told me to shut up.  I cursed him out and hung up the phone.  He called back and I didn't answer and he left a message cursing me out, the best way he knew how I guess. He called me from 347 607-3633.
