Some Centenials are actually the last gasp of the reliable direct drive washer. As they "progressed" more useless energy 'saving' garbage was added- finally they took away the real transmission and clutch. The actuator is the on the final departure from direct drive, digital controls preceded the Vertical Modular Washer - which many of you own here.
First add less clothing. Next set all extra knobs to extra rinse- add fabric softener- even if you don't use it.
Make it give you all the water it can, and fill it maybe halfway with fabrics.
Don't dream of a comforter, or more than one or two large sheets getting clean. You don't own your mother's old washer.

Forget it. just buy a rebuilt real washer from your local honest starving appliance fellow,
instead of an impersonal international corporation. I hope this helps.
