Just wanted to thank those who took the time to not only post their experience with chateau d'ax but also submit their research on the product. I extend my heart felt sympathies to the folks that were fleeced.
I just purchased the "Dylan" dbl recliner sectional group from Macy's in Ga. It was on clearance "as-is-no-returns" - for >$1800. I'd watched it for months and loved the way it looked but couldn't bring myself to pay $4k for it back in June. My delivery was scheduled for 11-30-10 but while at Sam's club last night, I saw a Berkline leather dbl recliner and chair for under $1100. It was very comfortable and looked very good. I decided today to give myself a little more time to shop after seeding what Sams had to offer (+ 12 mos no interest) but before doing so, I wanted to find out more about my purchase. I went on the Macys furniture site to search the brand to no avail so I searched the web & came across dozens of derrogatory opinions about CD brand. Needless to say, I'll be requesting a return and cancelling my purchase. $1800 is a lot to gamble with these days esepciall on an "as is" purchase.
Thanks again for everyone's posts!!
