Rude front attendant and housekeeping

I have just checked out of Holiday Inn Express in Lake Forest California . I was here 4 days and my flight was canceled and had to come back for another night. I had taken my medication out when leaving and forgot it on the counter. I was in the lobby waiting to be picked up and asked the front desk attendant if I could get back in my room to retrieve my medication. She asked the Housekeeping person and she said in broken english NO.  I told the girl at the desk I couldn't understand what she was saying. She said in a very rude way " she's SPEAKING english". She then made a card for me to get to my room and I did get my medication. I thought that could have been handled in a little more courtesy way. Both were very rude and uncaring. I would think Holiday Inn would be careful to make sure your guests are leaving on good terms. There is no call to be rude to someone just because they may have to do a little more work. I will not give this Hotel a good ref . The young man that checked me in was amazing! I was very angry that she saw it okay to speak to me with such an attitude. She has long black hair with an Egyptian symbol  of an Eye on her chest that she shows proudly. Very disappointed. My stay was perfect until I checked out. another thing, other people were coming in and shouting to the back for help. She was in the back and didn't seem to want to come out.
