I got a voicemail saying that a criminal lawsuit has been filed against me with case IR7416. The phone number is 1-919-694-3060.

I just got call and encrypt message saying if you don’t call me back good like with this situation. But when you call back it says officer so in so with internal affairs. Sounds like a scam

I got the same voicemail message. This is another attempt by those creeps who are not even in the US trying to get you to send them money!! Don’t call them back, don’t engage with them at all!! The ITS never calls & leaves a voicemail message! All their transactions are through certified mail!!

Called at 7:30 on a Saturday morning and said if I don't call back, he wishes me luck as the situation unfolds. Blocking it.

Just got a call on my land line from man with thick middle eastern accent, asking for my husband. Said IRS is filing a law suit against him ... blah blah blah. I interrupted him and I told him I work for the government (which is the truth) and why haven't I heard about this? Usually the scammer hangs up after I say this. He kept talking so I told him, "You're lying. There is no lawsuit. Shame on you! Stop calling me and go get a real job!" I hung up but the next scammer will be calling another day. This is one of the oldest scams that has been out there awhile. Please do not fall for this crap. The IRS will not call you and threaten you with a lawsuit. What a bunch of bullcrap. Wish someting could be done to stop this nonsense.
