The company has been giving me the runaround for 5 months and refused to pay my refund

I am starting to get the feeling that this Company is perpetuating some scams. I am still awaiting my refund after 5 months for an air ticket that I bought and for which the airline informed me at the very last minute would be delayed by a day. I refused to accept the delay as it would negate the purpose of my traveling, I had to buy another ticket for 300 dollars more from another agency and I asked that I should be refunded my payment. Five months and several phone calls and e-mails after, Cheapoair continues to give me ridiculous excuses and has not refunded my money. Sometimes I spend up to 30 minutes on the phone trying to get this sorted out, but I get transferred from one department to another with no one wanting to take responsibility until the call eventually gets disconnected. This is really appalling. It stinks. The last e-mail I got from Cheapoair claimed I would be contacted in 72 hours. Now eleven days after, I still have nothing from them... this is poor customer service and is starting to look like a scam to me
