Been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks now

I've had a home warranty with American home shield for 12 years.  Recently, my refrigerator went out on a Sunday, tech from assurance came Thursday.  It's been two weeks and assurance appliances still hasn't contacted American home shield to relay their findings.  It was the compressor.  I called both assurance appliances and American home shield almost daily, to no avail.  They each kept coming up with excuses.  I feel a refrigerator is a.must!!!  I need to pursue this further; it's just not right!!
