store security

i have been in retail for over 30 yrs and i was never so insulted by the staff at your trenton ontario location. let me just call it security overkill.  i had tried on a sweater in the store, removed mine and tried it on at a nearby mirror....which wasnt in close proximity and suddenly i noticed many staff hovering, i stopped to look at lipstick...and was on my way to the cash and made a few stop and looks...and as i was approaching the cash a floor supervisor popped out of no where and  startled me, with her aggressive, how are you today? the cash is open right there....it was obvious what was going on the store was quiet, so maybe they were all a little bored.i was so angry, and insulted. i haven't shopped at zellers for years and this year i decided to give it another chance, i even opened an hbc card, now i am contemplating cancelling the card entirely and never stepping foot in your store anywhere.  i have bought a gazebo there this summer and the manager is very nice..but your store staff look miserable and the cashiers are too young and the same goes for your floorwalker, i wish i would have gotten her name to pass on to you. i am a manager in a store myself and would not treat people with such disregard, maybe they should have stopped the person going through the security exit when the alarm went off, i didn't see that happen, instead they chose to play detective with me...what a waste of time. i am very unhappy with that whole experience and have mentioned it to others, as you know word of mouth travels fast.
