American Wish Giveaway

On Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, Shaun Ryan introduced himself from the National Gaming Commission from the phone # (757) 740-5663. He stated they've been trying to contact me and was unsuccessful since October 2020. Didn't I received their letter in the mail?  This is their last & final attempt to reach me before my prize is forfeited. Please write down this Claim # and contact American Wish Giveaway @ (844) 694-1047 immediately. He has to make the following statement for my protection to "beware" of scams, or mailing in gift cards to organizations etc. Who doesn’t know this already?

I called and spoke to John Sceeba. He stated I was entered into a sweepstake drawing automatically because I had made donations to certain non-profit organizations. I had no idea what he was talking about. I give to numerous organizations. I asked which organizations & he couldn't tell me.  I won 2nd place prize for 3.5 million. They're responsible for taxes & submitting a 1099 tax form.  A certified check would be hand delivered by Brinks company and recommend taking me to my financial institution for security reasons. He would complete all paperwork and call me back after Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021. I didn't believe him and told him & he email documents to me.

On the second page documents attached, next to last paragraph, Patriot Act. This company is located in US in New York. You don't pay out money to receive free money.

Shaun Ryan called back later that week. I asked him about the "Patriot Act" and fee due to receive money. He stated 1% of 3.5 is due and they're split that cost with me due to "Patriot Act". You know I "Googled" "Patriot Act" and that's all I going to say on that subject. Really!!!  Did John send you documents to your email account? I said yes, Why? Is there a problem? Half of 1% is a small price to pay for 3.5 million. There's no where in history where a valid company makes a recipient pays for winning prize money unless its a scam! I hung up. These scammers went thru great lengths to try to obtain money fraudulently. I would "NEVER" send anyone money 💰!!!! I work too hard for my 💰 money!!!

this sounds very similar to what they did to me but they used my deceased mother as a means to transfer the 3,500,000 to her survivers, telling me we had to pay 0.1% to gain access to winnings. then when the courier was to show up today with the money, they said the money had sat for nearly a year so had accrued interest but before they released it the taxes must be paid. i called the federal trade commission and he already had all the names, john seeba, jeffrey scott (supposedly from the fraudulant bureau of consumer protection), john ryan(from the fraudulant federal division of gaming enforcement,) and others, all fraudulant. and all from virginia! he informed me that the government does Not get involved with these sweepstake companies, and never will ask for taxes before the money is delivered. i dont know how these people sleep at night!

i  received a call from a man named Melvin Gordon telling me that i had won 3.5 million and i would be receiving a check. he didn't ask for any money up front until 5 days later. said i would have to pay $3,500. in order to get the $3.5 million. sounds good but as they say if it sounds too good to be true it most likely is. would it do any good to report them to the FBI ?  all the phone numbers they give me are still live and answer to America wish giveway

I jst received a call saying I won 3.5 million and they would be coming to the house to deliver the check.  Told him I did not believe him and he said he was an attorney with the company. I told him there is so much fraud out there  that I didn't believe him.  Gave me phone numbers to call but said your company was closed so I should call first thing in the morning.  Very confused but stll don't believe him.
