i fell for square as being the new cool way to accept credit cards. i'm an antiques dealer who normally has sales ranging from $200.00 - $600.00. occasionally a sale will be in the thousands of dollars. recently we had the opportunity to sell a rare civil war sword for $1500.00. we scanned the customers card and the transaction was approved by square and we pushed done. 3 days went by and no money was deposited to our bank account. we waited several more days and then tried to telephone square. same old story....couldn't find a phone no. for them (now we've got one) after numerous e-mails, square has decided the transaction wasn't completed because it was either voided out or their was a loss in network connectivity. so why would square approve a transaction if it was voided out or network connectivity was lost. is their something i'm missing in all of this????? (besides my $1500.00) and the story goes on and on. stay tuned!
