EXTRA CHARGES FIR TRUCK
Complaint

Sir
i have moved my household goods from kolkata to kochi on 11.07.2017 and got delivered the goods on 22.07.2017 at kochi. All the goods have been delivered .
When the truck reached kochi on 21.07.2017 , on enquiry by apml staff whether the truck can enter the premises of the apartment, i told to visit the location and make accordingly the delivery regarding entry of truck. However in the night at 10pm the truck came for delivery but could not enter the primises due to larger in size and other barriers. Then i suggested to park the vehicle outside the premises and deliver the goods at my flat. But they declined and took back the vehicle to their destination.
On 22nd july, when i contacted they informed that they will bring the goods through small vehicle to the premises but they demanded rs. 5000 being the truck charges. Though it was initially refused by me, but finally i agreed for the payment of rs 4000 over phone,, only at the interest of getting the goods delivered at home. Since we were residing at the flat without any household things for the past 10 days. Then the goods were delivered at 6pm on that day. The company demands for the payment of rs. 4000 since i agreed. In this context, i have to mention that i have already paid rs 96432 at that time of relocating the goods from kolkata vide mr no. Mrkol.113936 on 13.07.17 with transaction id - p2a/719218584280. Since it is prime responsibility of the apml to deliver the goods at the destination for the payment already agreed and decided and paid, i request you to consider to waive the payment of rs 4000, being the truck charges at ernakulam, though i have agreed as stated above.
I look forward your favourable consideration in this matter at the earliest.
