On October 11, 2006, I purchased a HP Pavilion dv6000 from Staples in Muskegon, Michigan. I paid almost $1000.00 which included a two year extended warranty.

On or about February 9, 2007, my DVD drive stopped working. I contacted HP on February 13, 2007. I received very poor customer service. My computer was barely four months old and it was already broke. You need to understand that this is a computer that is only used by myself and maybe used every other week. Not even on a daily basis. Three weeks ago I used my computer for about an hour. I turned it off and put it aside.

A week ago, March 25, 2007, I tried to use my computer. It was completely dead! NO POWER AT ALL!! This was just a little over a month from the first repair on a computer that still is not six months old. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied as a customer with this computer! I would not recommend to my family or friends that they purchase a HP laptop computer.

It has been five months, and the computer I purchased on October 11, 2006 is broke again. This makes the third, if not fourth time, it has been sent back for repair.
