           My experience with whirlpool air conditioner is pathetic just after  2 month of purchase i am facing problem, suddenly it stop working it looks as if its fan not working . i will never recommend any one to by Whirlpool air conditioner. after investing big amount of money.i am helpless to spend my complete night with out sleep just because in made mistake by Purchasing whirlpool air conditioner.please revert  when i can hope getting any assistance from whirlpool in getting this AC checked and how many days and night i have to suffer because of this.

    please never buy whirlpool products.  worst service provided by whirlpool. in fact they will not provide service at all. whirlpool products are very poor, substandard.  even the china and korea made products are better than whirlpool.  i do not think there is any educated engineers work in the whirlpool team.  to simply say " there are product color is white and service color is black"

      You are absolutely right. Whirlpool is the most screwed up ac you can ever have. I don't know from where do the company get the license to sell these ac's. I purchased 2 whirlpool ac's for my shop and both were not working only after 2 yrs of purchase. I have already repaired it  5 times till date. Please people don't waste your money on whirlpool ac.

        I have owned a 15000 Btu Whirlpool  window AC that's 9 years old and a 10000 btu one that's 20years old and both still work fine. The 15000 one the fan stopped and tripped out the breaker but all I had to do is free up the fan and oil it and it is blowing ice cold air once again. I have had good luck with all whirlpool products( Refrigerator, Washer & Drier)!!!!

        I'm a happy owner and will buy again, either whirlpool or fridgidare because they are both made by the same company.

    PURCHASED  A  WHIRLPOOL WASHING MEACHINE  MODEL  NO 8701 ON  11-01-2005 FROM  PNV  STORES MAVELIKKARA.  THE  DAY  PURCHASED  IT  WAS  NOT  WORKING  THAN  MR.PUSPAN  AND  AN  ENGINEER  CHANGED  THE  PANNEL BOARD  AND  WAS  O.K.  THAN  IT  GOT  REPAIRED  ON  24-10-2007  AUTHORISED  SERVISE  CENTRE  FOR  WHIRLPOOL (POPULAR ELECTRONICS)  KPAC JUNCTION  KAYAMKULAM, KERALA  TOOK  THE  MEACHINE  FOR  REPAIR  BUT  THEY  DID
    NOT  RETURNED  THE  MEACHINE  UNTIL  NOW.  IS  IT  REQUIRE  TO  REPAIR
    A  WASHING  MEACHINE  FOR  FOUR  YEARS.  WE  TALKED  TO  MADRAS,  KAYAKULAM  AND  CHERTALA  OFFICES  FOR  OUR  WASHING  MEACHINE  BUT  NO

    I have purchase a 1.5 ton Whirlpool a/c in June 2011 with a 2 free service. The second wet service was scheduled in June however when we received a call from Whirlpool service center we were on vacations out of town so, we requested them to make it after a week the date was around the beginning of June 2012 for the service. We received no call from them after that. Now when I called them for the 2nd free service on 17th June they said no request has been placed on their records and the warranty on the a/c has expired.  Since I have one more a/c purchased from whirlpool the a/c was serviced at the end of the summer season and their personal told me before that however the date of service on their manual is stated as only 9 months from the purchase date but they can service the a/c at the customer's convenience. The service of the Whirlpool customer agents were pathetic and they were even rude and hung up the calls multiple times on numerous occasions.We would be thankful if you support us in taking strict action against Whirlpool Company. I ADVICE ALL NOT TO GO FOR WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT, IF YOU WANT POST SALES SERVICES OF YOUR SATISFACTION. I feel that company like WHIRLPOOL is selling substandard products & fraudulently fooling it's customer's and making big money.
    I WILL TAKE THIS CASE TO THE CONSUMER COURT IN CASE THE ISSUE IS NOT FIXED SOON.

    I unfortunately purchased whirlpool AC product No:WT A/C, Model No: WAWR18G10 , Serial No:1033470066635 on 21.04 2009 .At the time of selection of AC ,there was much choice of AC's of other companies like voltas, LG, etc.and were less in price against Whirlpool.We thought whirlpool is best company having name and fame decided to purchase whirlpool. When the appliance reached the first blow we got that there was no remote controller inside and was thus missing.We had to follow up and finally it was delivered on 29th April 09 after lot of exercises had taken place.The installation person came and charged Rs 500/- for nothing .The work provided was unprofessional.I had to repeat the same work from a private person who charged very nominal wages. 2nd free service was not provided  as they said one day over the prescribed service within warranty period has expired. We were under impression that they will call us from the service center at their convenience. We were left with no choice but to call them to get service done against payment. On 23.07.2011 against our complaint that AC is not cooling  a  person came with some small instrument in his hand telling that I have to check first.He did exactly juggler's trick type showed to machine and went away within a minute or so and to our surprise he demanded Rs. 395/- visiting charges telling that  technician will come and get it rectified. It was really shocking status and fun as well .This in our language is called "din dhare loot khasoot."Kindly shut down these type of practices.Do not kill consumer let him live.On our inquiry the technician said  there is gas leakage as some of the copper pipe have pours in it. We said that the AC is  2 years 2 months old how is it possible it got damaged so soon.Anyway it was rectified  and Rs. 1750 were charged apart from visiting charges.Now this is year 2012 going on and till date three times gas leakage happened when we started  using AC from May.In nutshell the quality is deteriorated and sub standard with more power consumption..This type of AC should not cost more than RS 7 to 8 thousand otherwise it is better to purchase room coolers available in markets with remote.  Please think on it and revert with your views.Awaiting to listen positive solution to the problems of consumers.

    i have a complant with whirlpool washing machine which i brought from the PNV stores,  mavelikara. now i am finding their address and number to call abt this complaint. my complaint is tha it all of sudden it stopped working due to lack of water in the tank but later i didnt knw how it will work again so the waste water i was taking by hand using a small mug and the lights of the parameters are showing.will it work as before.

    i have facing problem with whirlpool automatic washing m/c after compleat there warrenty period the motor will burn then i will purchise anew motor from popular service center in kpac jungtion kayamkulam then i use only two days again become the same problem then i complaint to service center after few days there technition come and took the m/c to workshop after thirty days no replay from wirlpool service center again icall them and they tell to me there is water leaking from the tub so there is one seal will damage its the cost of rs 3980 and tax i tell to them you bring back the m/c and i dont want to repair because  i head from others do not by any product of whirlpool exspecily washing m/c .........

    The compressor of the Whirlpool Genius Refrigerator purchased in 2009 has been burnt out and the company is dithering from its responsibility replacing the same on very lame excuses. I have been made argue with one and sundry in the Whirlpool Customer Care/ Service Division without any result. The officials in the Customer Care/ Service Division are not ready to fulfil their commitment.

    I MADE THE PAYMENT FOR THE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR 2 YEARS. VALID FROM 30TH SEPTEMBER 2014 TO 29TH SEPTEMBER 2016 FOR Rs.4700/-. I MADE THE CHEQUE OF THE SAME AMOUNT IN FAVOUR OF RAGHUVEER ENTERPRISES, THE SERVICE CENTRE. AS IT WAS MENTIONED IN THE CONTRACT AND THE COMPANY SITE. THIS CHEQUE WAS GIVEN TO THE SERVICE ENGINEER ON 24TH MAY 2014. AND IT WAS ENCASHED BY THE CENTRE IN 2 DAYS. I DID NOT ANY DOCUMENT FROM THE COMPANY THEN. PLEASE FIND ATTACHED A SOFT COPY OF THE AMC.

    AND NOW, I GET A MAIL IN MARCH 2015, SAYING THE CONTRACT IS FROM 28TH FEBRUARY 2015 TO 28TH FEBRUARY 2016!!!!!!
    IT ALSO SAYS WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THE CONTRACT AND THAT INCLUDES THE MOTOR TOO. BUT MY WASHING MACHINE MOTOR WAS CHANGED ON 9TH MARCH 2015 AND I WAS CHARGED Rs. 650/- FOR IT!!!!! I DID NOT EVEN GET A RECEIPT FOR THE SAME!!

    THE ONLY AIM OF WHIRLPOOL IS TO CHEAT CONSUMERS!!! THE PRODUCT IS A DEFECTIVE ONE. I'VE HAD SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH IT FROM THE FIRST YEAR. AND KEEP PAYING FOR SOME PART. SOME PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED TWICE!! IT BREAKS DOWN EVERY MONTH. AND THE SERVICE CENTRE IS ALSO OUT TO CHEAT CUSTOMERS. THE CALL CENTRE HAS TERRIBLE EXECUTIVES, WHO DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND BASIC ENGLISH OR HINDI MOST TIMES!!

    WHIRLPOOL IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. AND I WILL BE SUING THE COMPANY FOR ALL THE MENTAL HARASSMENT AND ALL THE CHARGES THAT I'VE PAID.
